Hi fashion friends! I am so excited to embark on this new journey with you all. Whether you are here to learn a few things about fashion, are a lover of the blogger girl lifestyle, or are just curious about my new blog, I truly believe this community will be a great way to expand your horizons in new and fun ways. I wanted to give you guys a little insight as to what to expect from future posts on The Kennedy Blog. Below are the topics and specifics we will continue to explore and understand together. After all, the blog's inspiration is to help bring people from all backgrounds together by using fashion and service as a common ground to make the world a better place.
Fashion
To begin, Fashion will be the main topic of conversation produced throughout the content. Being an individual who was surrounded by fashion at such a young age, it truly inspires me daily and is a major part of what makes me who I am. I am ready to put my degree in fashion to the test by providing you all with a special insight into the fashion industry. We will discuss trending looks, predictions for future fashion, styles, fabrics, designers to be on the lookout for, and so much more. Of course, all these views will be based on my perspective of the fashion industry while getting factual information from fashion icons and reputable sites such as Vogue, Women's Wear Daily, Elle, and The New York Times.
Being one who loves to research anything that deals with clothes, styles, and trends, I feel inclined to share with you guys all the wonderful information I have learned through this gained knowledge. I hope to help my readers have a channel where all this information can be found in one area. Of course, listed articles and cited information will be at the bottom of each post, so each individual will have the tools to explore these topics as much as they please. Service
In today's world, volunteerism is a topic that is hardly discussed. It's time we change this together. The only way to make this happen is to discuss it. Conversation is key to helping change the way the world views service. There truly is no better feeling than bringing a smile to someone's face, especially when that someone needs your help. Of course, we will still talk fashion, but I want to challenge everyone in this community to find a fun way to use their gifts and talents to help change people's lives for the better.
I have always struggled with being accepted and included, especially since I'm a fashionista from a very small country town. You can probably imagine standing out was very easy for me to accomplish. Through these experiences, I naturally want to advocate for inclusion and acceptance, especially for the younger generation. That's why I recently started a program called More Than a First Impression. This initiative is designed to encourage individuals to look beyond a first interaction and allow people to show their true selves. In doing so, we dig deeper to see and understand the beauty of the individual, and we break down stereotypes and biases to create a more accepting and inclusive community.
Regarding future service-themed posts, we will explore the topics of inclusion and acceptance, potentially with a fashion-themed twist. I also want to dig deeper within the fashion industry to give you all an insight into how designers, models, and influencers show the world that volunteering is cool and relative. I believe that accomplishing these tactics will help everyone see how serving others is the most rewarding and spiritually fulfilling opportunity for yourself and others.
What Makes Kennedy
Finally, one more topic will be listed underneath my post occasionally. I bet you can guess what that topic will be:) Being a spiritual woman, I would not be who I am today if it was not for Jesus Christ taking this sinful woman and using her for some good. When feeling the call, I want to share with you all special verses that have saved me through tough times, devotionals, and any other Christ-like information that will set you up for success, no matter what place of life or occupation you are achieving. I will also share where fashion and Jesus have met in different moments of time. In doing so, I am hopeful to showcase that it does not matter what your passion or gift may be. God can use you for His good; you just have to trust and obey.
I am so excited to get this journey kicked off with you all. Being new to this lifestyle, all posts will be free of charge.
